PC-Kit for temperature documentation

Temperature evaluation, monitoring and documentation: simple, fast and Windows compatible.

Kirsch PC-Kit captures, evaluates and documents the recorded data.
Software-CDKirsch-datanet is a program for capturing and visualising analogue and digital measurement data. You will find an overview of the most important program parts inside this brochure. The recorded data can be exported to other programs and sent by e-mail. Additionally, the program offers a monitoring function. The current interior temperature and alarm messages from the connected refrigerators and freezers are shown on screen. Full instructions are included on the CD.

Kirsch PC-Kit as single-user or network version
The measurement data is stored on a data logger board. A gateway converts the recorded data to allow it to be read out on the PC. With the single-user version, the gateway is connected to the PC through a USB interface. The network version is connected to the existing network port using an Ethernet cable.

Pen recording thermometer

The use of the pen-recording thermometer is recommended whenever the temperature inside a refrigerator or freezer has to be recorded without it being necessary to be able to read the measurements from outside the appliance. The thermometer can be placed in any desired part of the refrigerator or freezer, with no installation work necessary.

The pen-recording thermometer has a clockwork drive mechanism, making it independent of the mains power supply. The temperature scale is clear and legible, and is located behind a window together with the recording strip. Its solid housing acts as a thermal trap and ensures that the thermometer always displays and records the temperature of the contents, and does not react to short-term air-temperature fluctuations, for instance when the door is opened briefly.

Measuring range: -40°C to +25°C.
Maximum length of recording period per strip: 32 days.

Length 16.5 cm, width 9.2 cm, depth 4.6 cm. Weight approx. 1 kg.
Spare waxed paper strips are supplied in packs of 10.

Preparation for recording temperatures externally

Instead of the previously mentioned temperature recording process, a temperature sensor PT-100 (or PT-1000) with a measuring area, which is installed inside the unit, is available.

A 4-wire PT-sensor that complies with DIN IEC 751, Class 1/3 B is used here. Via appropriate interfaces on site, e.g. RS 232, the sensor can be connected to a computer system or another local temperature analysis unit.

Disc-type pen-recording thermometer

As the individual illustrations show, the disc-type pen-recording thermometer is installed permanently in the refrigerator or freezer. It has a battery-operated quartz mechanism (independent of mains supply). the exchangeable recording disc are sufficient for a 7-day period. The temperature is recorded on the disc with a blue felt pen. The temperature sensor of the disc-type pen-recording thermometer is located in a refrigerant flask inside the refrigerator or freezer, so that the temperature of the appliance’s contents is measured rather than the air temperature. The front window of the disc-type pen-recording thermometer can be locked.

Measuring range: - 35° to + 15°C or - 60° to + 25°C
